Rental unit: Kear's Mountain Magic (04117)
Title: Great Cabin with only a Couple Minor Issues
Review: Starting with the cons. Read to the end for the pros because this is a great unit. Cons: Parking - there is practically no parking at this unit. Driving a full sized 4x4 F150s was a task to get parked. Driveway - this unit's driveway was unmarked. There was no sign or anything indicating that the cabin was down the gravel trail to this unit. There is also no turn around for big trucks like mine so it made it difficult to get turned around. Dated TV: Granted I did not come to this unit to watch TV but even a little 32" LCD TV would have been nice seeing as the TV there is an old tube TV. (Make note I was up there during the Superbowl so it stood out more than it probably would have otherwise) Cookware: limited cookware if you plan on doing all your cooking inside rather than go out to eat. WITH THAT BEING SAID...... Pros: -AMAZING VIEW -Good Hot Tub -Jacuzzi was big enough for me and I am 6'1" -Fireplace is great -Studio/Open Floor Plan is laid out perfectly -Decor is nice -Washer and Dryer work perfectly -Bed is pretty comfy and she sheets/comforter are super soft -Literally within minutes from Downtown Gatlinburg and even closer to the grocery store We had an amazing stay in this unit and when we return we will likely look at this exact unit. The cons were no where near big enough to make this trip to Gatlinburg anything less than spectacular. We will be back.
