Rental unit: Life's a Bear (10131)

Review: We have come to Gatlinburg and rented a cabin every spring since we got married in 1997. Beautiful cabin. Everything worked great and the view is spectacular. In case you're tethered electronically to home/work, cellular was very strong and internet was fast. Nicest porch/deck we have ever had, and plenty of privacy. All the decor, the open beams and wood paneling really set the mood, the gas fireplace was wonderful, and the big four-poster king-side bed was to die and go to heaven after. Easy drive to the cabin, unlike so many that are scary. We also liked being halfway in between the Gatlinburg strip and the one in Pigeon Forge. We conducted business entirely online and via email, so we can't comment on the office or staff, but we liked the convenience - not having to spend any of our precious vacation time dealing with an office. Would definitely stay with this company again, but probably at a different unit, only because we come every year during the NCAA tournament, and need a cabin with two TVs and this unit has only one.
