Review: Nice unit but the views aren't what we expected. The patio is very small and there are no views worth talking about from that small patio. The outside patio space is useless save the upstairs patio that has the Hot Tub. On the plus side, the Hot Tub is very private. But the Hot Tub was anything but hot. Lukewarm at best. The chalet is nice inside. Not great but nice. There are two comfortable bedrooms and nice kitchen / dining area. The grill outside is not great. It does the job for some hamburgers or other quick meals but it is not suitable for a nice barbeque. There are 2.5 baths in the unit which is good. The unit was very clean but it lacks entertainment equipment. There's an old TV and a cable box with only local channels. Doesn't matter much to this family but most other cabins we've rented had flat screen TVs, more than one TV in the unit and a broader choice in channels. The drive up to the chalet is steep and narrow. Not a big deal to me but some drivers won't like it. My wife wouldn't have driven up or down that way. The chalet has keyless entry. Rented the place online, got directions and entry code as promised via email a few days ahead of time. No need to stop by the rental office or anything. The rental experience overall was absolutely excellent. Would definitely consider renting with Mountain Rentals again but may opt for a different cabin next time.
