Review: My wife and I stayed at the cabin for a long weekend. The view from the balcony is too die for. On the left you can see Mt Laconte. The tallest peak in the smokies. With binoculars you can see the remote cabins between the two tallest peaks there. On the right you can see Ober Gatlinburg and the ski slopes. Please bring binoculars. On our way up the winding road to the cabin we rounded a curve and there in the road was a large black bear. In 40 years of coming to Gatlinburg we have never seen a bear. A highlight of our trip for sure. Upon seeing us he turned and lumbered up the road with his huge paws and disappeared into the woods. The cabin is remote and gives plenty of privacy. We would highly recommend this cabin.
