Title: Perfect Location - Seculded and Close to Attractions
Review: We are from Upper Michigan and rented this cabin for a long girls weekend the 2nd weekend in September 2013. There were 6 of us and our ages range from 34 to 54 and we all really enjoyed our stay. Here is our review of the cabin.
Bedrooms: There was a bedroom on each of the three levels; the 2 king’s and2 queens slept 6 adults perfectly. Beds were comfortable (and I have a TempurPedic at home).
Bathrooms: Each bedroom had its own full bathroom so getting ready in the morning was no issue.
Main Living: Plenty of room for us to dine and play games at the table and sit in the living room and chat. The deck had plenty of seating as well.
Kitchen: Has everything you need, pots, pans, bake ware, glassware, silverware, storage bowls, blender, toaster, dishwasher liquid, towels, and an outdoor charcoal grill.
Maintenance: We had two burnt out porch lights and the hot tub was not working properly when we arrived (only 75 degrees). Called maintenance the next evening and they arrived within a few hours to replace the bulbs and fix the hot tub.
Views: We had a wonderful view of the mountains through the trees with wonderful sunsets that we watched every night.
Driveway access: We had a Chrysler Town & Country van and had no problem getting in and out of the driveway, which is at a sharp angle from the narrow road.
Overall: We were more than satisfied with our stay at this cabin and don’t think we could have found a better cabin for our needs. It was convenient to Gatlingburg and the National Park. Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg was our choice because they list the total cost up front, no need to figure out what the total is after other service fees are applied. The website has plenty of information and pictures that make you feel comfortable about your selection.
